The Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club Watch Story
Daniel Klein Group
Established in 1970 in Turkey as ESSA GROUP, the company was built on experience, craftsmanship, and long-term vision. What began as a family enterprise grew into an international operation grounded in the belief that experience is the greatest source of knowledge. In 2013, the formation of the Hong Kong–based Daniel Klein Group marked a decisive step onto the global stage, accelerating worldwide expansion. As the global licensee for Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club watches, eyewear, and jewelry, Daniel Klein Group has built a strong international footprint. SBPRC watches are represented in 44 countries worldwide. The brand’s core markets span the Middle East, Mid and Eastern Europe, and the Caucasus region, with the Middle East accounting for 40% of total sales volume. Under the leadership of Ercan Bey, CEO of Daniel Klein Group, a family- founded enterprise has evolved into a global authority in refined, accessible luxury. Guided by a vision that unites heritage with international ambition, the Group continues to shape the worldwide journey of Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club timepieces. From established territories across Europe and the Middle East to expanding horizons in new regions, the alliance between Daniel Klein Group and Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club continues to strengthen its global presence — shaping a legacy defined not only by time, but by enduring prestige. Today, the Group produces more than 4 million watches annually — the equivalent of one watch sold every minute around the world. With nearly 1,000 employees across its companies and manufacturing operations, Daniel Klein Group stands as a vertically integrated powerhouse, exporting to more than 85 countries.

"From Santa Barbara to the World where Sport becomes styles"
For more than 25 years, Brandpin has developed and managed sports fashion and lifestyle brands across the UK and Europe with a clear focus on long-term brand integrity and commercial sustainability. Our expertise spans design, sourcing, and strategic distribution, supported by a disciplined and structured approach to market development. A Legacy Without Borders Arun Pindoria Commercial Director, Brandpin Apparel Our appointment as apparel licensee for Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club reflects a strong alignment in values. SBPRC is rooted in one of America’s most established polo institutions — a brand defined by authenticity, heritage, and refined sporting tradition. Its credibility is inherent, and our role is to translate that legacy into a contemporary apparel collection while preserving its core identity. Leadership Design Inspiration Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club is shaped by heritage and place. The elegance and competitive spirit of polo form its foundation, while the natural beauty and relaxed sophistication of Santa Barbara define its character. I oversee the commercial strategy and regional development of the brand, working closely with key retail partners to ensure measured and sustainable growth. Over the past two decades, I have collaborated with internationally recognised sports and lifestyle labels, building structured distribution networks and strengthening brand equity across diverse markets. Creatively, we are guided by Jo Swift, whose extensive experience in design, sourcing, and product development across Europe and the Far East ensures each collection is both authentic and commercially focused. Her structured approach to development maintains consistency, quality, and clear brand alignment throughout the process. We translate this identity into modern sportswear through clean lines, balanced proportions, and refined detailing. The result is understated, confident apparel rooted in sporting tradition and inspired by the effortless lifestyle of the California coast.
